This is a standard template provided with the software and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The academy can replace it at any time from Settings.
Trial classes
The first demo class is free. If it is not right for your child, nothing is owed and nothing is charged.
Monthly fees
Fees are billed in advance for the coming period. A fee becomes due on the date shown on your invoice.
Cancelling
You may stop classes at any time by telling us before the next billing period begins. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Refunds
If you cancel part-way through a paid period, we refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis, calculated by classes remaining. If Universal Chess School cancels a class and cannot reschedule it within the same period, that class is credited or refunded.
Missed classes
A class a student misses without notice is not refunded, but a coach will usually offer a catch-up where the schedule allows. Tell us in advance where you can.
How to ask
Write to us at the address below with your invoice number. We aim to answer within five working days and to pay any refund by the same method you paid.
